چکیده
Yield physiology of asparagus (Asparagus officinalis L.) is strongly influenced by biotic factors such as crown and root rot caused Fusarium spp. abiotic conditions precipitation or temperatures, duration each harvest, field management practices. Asparagus yields are linked to the availability soluble carbohydrates (CHO) in storage system which considered a key factor productivity. The aim this study was quantify impacts long-term application range potential Best Management Practices (BMPs) on yield carbohydrate content green trial. trial established 2016 with ‘Gijnlim’ variety. Commercial were collected 2018, 2019 2020. Root determined BMPs included (1) companion crops - Rye (Secale cereale L.), Mustard (Sinapis alba (2) interrow surface mulch applications either straw PAS 100 compost (Publicly available specification) combination shallow soil disturbance (SSD), (3) conventional practice modifications tillage applying SSD not (4) zero-tillage option. Annual re-ridging (R) ridging (NR) applied BMP options 1–3. had no significant impact while annual negatively affected total treatments bare interrows, managed without SSD. Conventional associated 22% reduction ∼€4250 ha−1 loss revenue compared Zero-tillage treatment. Companion cropping mustard did have yields. however reductions > 20% practice. Compost interrows (at 25 t per year) resulted improvements 20%, 10% 34% 2020, respectively, No correlation observed between results confirmed that yield, thus farm income can be significantly improved through implementation several investigated.

Root Residue Amendment on Varietal Allelopathy and Autotoxicity of Replanted Asparagus (Asparagus officinalis L.)
This study evaluated the allelopathic potential and autotoxic interference with growth and nutrient uptake of two asparagus varieties; UC157 (U) and Gijnlim (G) from USA and Europe, respectively. The two varieties were cultivated in a continuous replanting system in different rotational patterns with soil amended by asparagus root residues, and unamended soil (control) under greenhouse conditio...

The aim of this paper was to study of the effect of fenugreek seed (Trigonella foenum-graecum) and asparagus root (Asparagus officinalis) on in vitro digestibility and kinetics of gas production of alfalfa hay. Fenugreek seed (FS) and asparagus root (AR) were added at different levels (0, 5, 10, 15 and 20% of DM). Total phenolic components of alfalfa hay (AH), fenugreek seed (FS) and asparagus ...

Callus growth and plant regeneration from long-term callus cultures were studied in two elite clones of Asparagus officinalis cv. Argenteuil, to establish a suitable protocol for a prospective in vitro selection program. Callus initiation and growth was evaluated on MS medium with 3% sucrose, 0.9% agar, 1 mg x l(-1) kinetin, and three levels of 2,4-D. The highest callus relative growth was obta...

The life table and consumption rate of Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) reared on asparagus, Asparagus officinalis L. (Asparagales: Asparagaceae) were studied under laboratory conditions to assess their interaction. Development, survival, fecundity, and consumption data were analyzed by the age-stage, twosex life table. This study indicated that asparagus is a natural host...
